Mark your calendars and get ready to register for our first ever 0.5k race to raise funds for furnishing both primary schools on Nkombo Island. Due to the generous gifts of many and International Cooperating Ministries (ICM), as well as our CHS missions giving, WE NOW HAVE ENOUGH TO COMPLETE THE BUGUMIRA SCHOOL BUILDINGAll that is still needed is $36,240 to supply furnishings for 3 new classrooms at the Nkombo school and furnishings for all 11 classrooms at the Bugumira school, as well as computers/printers and land for playground space for both schools.

Race Details and Courses
(Yes, that’s right, just ½ of a kilometer)
0.5k race for runners ages 12 and under
0.5k race for runners ages 13-39
0.5k race for runners ages 40+
0.5k race for walkers, strollers, and dogs

In addition to the race, there will be a DJ and cornhole tournaments, barbeque and hotdog dinners, cotton candy and popcorn. 

Non-racers also welcome!
