I’m looking forward to being with you on Sunday as we gather to worship, learn and celebrate together. I will be walking us through an amazing passage that you might want to preview, 1 Corinthians 1:18-31. I can’t wait to talk about it with you. It’s a crazy maker.
On Sunday, as we transition from our time in the Word to communing at the Lord’s table, we will continue our recent revival of an old CHS practice. Namely, having time each week for us to pause and respond to the Lord at the rail, however He leads.
I hope doing this more frequently won’t make it any less special, but will make it more common that you encounter our gracious Lord. In fact, we have decided to do this every week, because as much as we want to learn, sing, serve and do many other good things, our highest priority always is to be with the Lord.
I hope the teaching, singing and all the rest will culminate for you in a personal encounter with our Lord who was willing to be thought a fool, and suffer vulnerability of profound weakness because He loves you.
Please do feel free to pause at the curved center rail on your way to the straight edge rails and meet Him there.
See you Sunday.
