The CHS CARE Ministry is all about helping and caring for an individual and or family in time of need. This ministry has been in place for a number of years, yet most are unaware of it, because this ministry operates most of the time behind the scenes and goes unnoticed. Yes, unnoticed…except to those who have or are being blessed – it is a real blessing! Care is given by clergy/staff and lay people alike. Are you interested in learning more and becoming involved? Read on.
Jesus instructs us in Matthew 25 to care for the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, those without clothes, the sick, and those in prison. So we, as a body of believers, have the privilege, and are being called, to be the hands and feet that come alongside an individual or family in time of need. Jesus goes on to identify believers in Matthew 25:40 this way, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
