Jesus said, “Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.” Luke 10:36-37

We have many “neighbors” in our fellowship to whom we owe our thanks and gratitude for showing mercy, love and care to others. These are the volunteers and leaders of the Care Ministry team. So we say, thank you for your tireless efforts, for your intentionality to serve and love your neighbors as yourself. Thank you for putting yourself aside, for taking up your cross daily and following Christ as you minister and care for others. You are our heroes and our examples of Christ’s love among us. There is no better definition or love than when one serves. And so we thank you for your impact on the lives of others; you truly are the hands and feet of Christ. Thank you for continuing to inspire all those around you to greater love and service to others. Thank you for praying, serving, caring and tending the hurting, sick and needy among us. As you did it for the least of these, you did it for Him.
