Here’s what you need to know before you come on Sunday:
We are following the evolving published safety guidelines from the Governor as we have entered Phase 2.
We will be using ONLY the entrance at the top of the ramp into the church. Please park appropriately. All other doors will be locked.
**Physical limitations: If an individual is unable to enter or exit the church building using the ramp due to physical limitations, the main side door across from the entrance to the office (at the handicap parking) will be unlocked. A greeter will be by this door to open it for the individual.
We will not be conducting forehead temperature scans, but do ask that you take your temperature at home if you feel ill or even think you might be ill. You can always stay home and listen to the service on Facebook Live under those circumstances.
We are fortunate to have a huge sanctuary in order to properly distance ourselves. Even six feet apart, it is powerful to assemble corporately.
Facemasks are required for those age 10 and above. They are also recommended for age 3 and above.
Children will need to stay with their parents.
If you are ill, immuno-suppressed, or simply not ready to come back, do not worry, there will be no judgment of that. We will cover your needs as we will continue to broadcast on Facebook live. We are taking communion at the service, so if you will be worshiping with us from home, stop by the Church office this week, Monday to Thursday from 9am-4pm to pick up your communion bags. If you have any questions or needs about communion distribution, please contact Barbara Murray (540-354-7090 or Barbara@chsroanoke.com) before Noon on Thursday.
