The feelings that come from sexual abuse can be devastating. People who have been victimized by this trauma wonder if they will ever be free from the haunting memories of their past. They also wonder whether or not they will ever feel physically, spiritually, and emotionally whole again. Shelter From the Storm: Hope for Survivors of Sexual Abuse offers hope and healing to wounded people.
Shelter From the Storm began on April 1 and will run until June 24. It is held in-person in Room M237 from 9:30-11:30 am on Thursdays. This class is led by Mary Beth Poff and Barbara Murray. Childcare is available. Participation is limited.
