Married to "the Colonel" Hal for over 35 years, a mother of four and former Army wife, Kim was born in Roanoke but enjoyed a literal opportunity to “go and teach all nations” as a result of her family’s military lifestyle. Kim loves her four children and delights in her growing family with two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and five active and amazing grandchildren- all under the age of four!

Kim’s passion in ministry is coming alongside people as they pursue intimate relationship with Jesus. She encourages individuals to pause, listen, and follow His voice to live lives of surrender and transformed purpose.

Kim graduated from Roanoke College with an English degree and double minor in Mathematics and Spanish. She has previously served in many leadership roles in a military lay ministry, Protestant Women of the Chapel International. Between 2002 and 2008 she served in the point positions of Vice President, President and Senior Advisor at the international level. Kim joined the CHS staff in fall 2007 and has yet to decide which presents the greater challenge, leading thousands of women or serving as gatekeeper to Bishop Quigg!
